Deborah L. Rhode, the Ernest W. McFarland Professor of Law at Stanford University, delivers the Brainerd Currie Memorial and Kenan Institute for Ethics Distinguished Lecture, "#MeToo: Why Now? What Next?".

Prof. Rhode, director of Stanford's Center on the Legal Profession and Program in Law and Social Entrepreneurship, is the most frequently cited scholar on legal ethics and the author or co-author of over 30 books in the area of professional responsibility, leadership, and gender. She has received the American Bar Association's Michael Franck Award for contributions to the field of professional responsibility and Pro Bono Publico Award for her work on expanding public service opportunities in law schools, the American Bar Foundation's W. M. Keck Foundation Award for distinguished scholarship on legal ethics and Outstanding Scholar Award, and the White House's Champion of Change Award for a lifetime's work in increasing access to justice.
