Abstract

This essay, based on a keynote address being delivered at the 2010 Conference of the Corporate Law Teachers’ Association of Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific Region, focuses on the extent to which corporate lawyers should have responsibility to their clients and to the public to help identify and address potentially harmful client actions. It also examines how corporate lawyers could be better educated to meet their responsibility.
